HFS4WIN.exe is known as Paragon HFS+ for Windows? 9.1 and it is developed by Paragon Software. We have seen about 8 different instances of HFS4WIN.exe in different location. So far we haven't seen any alert about this product. If you think there is a virus or malware with this product, please submit your feedback at the bottom. Seagate Backup Plus 4TB and right-click on the drive. Select Properties and check if the device is working properly under Device Status. If there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, then it indicates that there are some issues with it. Download HFSExplorer for Windows to read Mac-formatted hard disks and disk images. I have a Seagate Backup Plus Slim External Drive that is no longer being recognized in Windows 10,it works fine in Windows 7,8 and on other computers/devices but ever since I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro I have been having this issue and it is still not solved!

Here is why the video was made:
Fresh out off the box, we plugged the Seagate Backup Plus Portable 1 TB, For Mac and Pc, on an Acer Aspire 7750G (Windows 7) computer to make sure it worked.
After that we gave it to 2 different friends to dump some files off their Macs. Then it was plugged back it into The Acer PC and it did not show up on 'My Computer'. The computer recognized the External Hard drive and gave the option to Safely Remove but that was about it.
How to fix it:

1) Connect the Seagate External drive to the Windows Computer.
2) Go to: http://www.seagate.com/sg/en/support/downloads/item/backup-plus-mac-software-master/

This is a Windows Driver to Allow Seagate 'For Mac' Drives to Work on Windows (HFS4Win.exe)
3) Scroll to the bottom of the page and Click on [DOWNLOAD]

4) After it downloads, Install and follow the Wizard prompts to complete installation
5) Reboot the Computer
